Getting Home Safely After a Night Out in Cannock

A great night out ends with getting home safely. Whether you are out in Cannock, Hednesford or further afield in Lichfield or Stafford, a little planning makes the journey home easy.

Pre-book your ride home

Book your return journey before you go out, or use the Corkys app to book in seconds when you are ready to leave. Late at night, especially at weekends, pre-booking means less waiting around.

Only use licensed taxis

Always travel with a licensed taxi or private hire firm. Licensed drivers have been checked by the council, and their vehicles are inspected. Every Corkys Cars driver and vehicle is licensed by Cannock Chase District Council.

Check it is your taxi

Before you get in, check that the car and driver match your booking. The Corkys app lets you track your taxi in real time, so you can wait inside until it arrives.

Stick together

If you are out as a group, plan to travel home together, and make sure everyone has a way home before the night ends. For bigger groups, one larger vehicle can take everyone at once. See our minibus hire page.

Let someone know

Tell a friend or family member when you are leaving and when you get home, especially if you are travelling alone.

Taxis 24/7 across Cannock Chase

Corkys Cars runs 24 hours a day across Cannock and the surrounding areas, so however late your night ends, we can get you home. See our local taxis page for more.
